A one-vehicle accident on Highway 11 North, just south of Sandersville, left one Laurel teenager dead and another with serious injuries, this according to officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol Wednesday.
Bradley Johnson, 17, was transported from the scene of the crash which reportedly occurred at around noon Tuesday. He later died at South Central Regional Medical Center. The unidentified passanger was transported to South Central Regional Mdical Center as well with what officials deemed non-life threatening injuries.
MHP officials said the vehicle in which Johnson was driving apparently left the highway as he was traveling south near the Red Bud Road turn-off. The vehicle impacted a tree alongside the road and Johnson was ejected.
A preliminary investigation indicated Johnson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Johnson was a Northeast Jones High School student.

I took this straight from the newspaper where I live. I know you may not care much about a death in Mississippi, but Brad was a good friend that everyone loved and he was one of those people you'd never expect to hear about dying. I don't care if you really don't get anything from this, but at least remember to wear your seat belt. . .
